Counselling  is a term used to cover the various types of talking therapies.

I offer counselling from a range of psychological models, enabling me to tailor my approach to suit your needs.

We have all heard the old adage: “a problem shared is a problem halved”, and yet sometimes, speaking to a family member or friend can be the most difficult – we are often afraid of what they might think of us.

I regularly hear the words “I have never told anyone this.” I can offer you a safe haven where you can explore your internal thoughts, feelings and desires in full confidentiality, and without judgement or criticism.

With a warm and open style, I have helped many clients, dealing with such issues as:

  • Grief
  • Anger
  • Depression
  • Addiction
  • Intimate Relationships
  • Chronic Pain

I have experience working with mental health issues such as Bipolar, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Post Natal Depression. I can work alongside your GP to offer a holistic approach that may help to reduce your symptoms and will improve your general mental health and wellbeing.

I never forget that Your Counselling Session is YOUR time for YOU. You can use your sessions as part of a Freedom 2 Session or as an Individual Therapy; it is your choice and I will work in the way that is exactly right for you.

For some clients having Telephone or Skype Counselling sessions may offer greater flexibility and access to therapy.
